Boxelder bugs are a nuisance as they can enter hones and other buildings. They often show up in large numbers as they seek refuge and a warm location to ride out the winter months. Once arriving at your home, they will likely be most noticeable congregating on the south or west facing sides of the structure staging on the warm surfaces that have collected the thermal energy of the sun.
